DRIVING AN AUTHENTIC VINTAGE FORMULA FORD
Within a single day you will get an intensive training in a Formula Ford Crosslé. You will be taming the Formula equipped with a 110hp Ford engine for 420 kg, coupled with a 4- speed manual gearbox driving 260 kilometres per hour while offering incomparable driving sensations and ease of use for both amateur and experienced drivers.
CHARADE RACE TRACK
Home of the French Grand Prix in 1965, 1969, 1970 and 1972, this iconic 4 km-long race track is the only race track in France located in the mountains of the Massif Central and was described by Stirling Moss as the “ Most beautiful track in the world ”.
BACK IN TIME EXPERIENCE
The whole environment dates back to 60’s and 70’s. Racing overalls, helmets, pit box equipment it all will take you back in time and grand authentic and memorable atmosphere.
ART DECO ACCOMMODATION STYLE
From the heights of the town, this fine hotel dating from the 1930s broadcasts a non-stop resounding tribute to electromagnetic waves and the triode vacuum tube that made possible the invention of the talkies and the wireless. Its trendy Art Deco decor has as much impact as it did on the day it opened, with its mosaic flooring, decorative wrought iron and marriage of glass and mirrors. This beautiful hotel will be your home for two nights.
REFINED CUISINE
In the kitchen, chef Wilfrid Chaplain mixes the frequencies of his native Normandy and of his adopted region, Auvergne, a source of gentle, little-known harmonies. Technically proficient, he creates an ambitious, subtle and delicate cuisine that delights the taste buds: Charolais beef, raviolo of confit beef cheek, red wine aromatic jus; monkfish and watercress jus; mackerel marinated in lime, ash-baked celeriac. As for the platter of Auvergne cheeses, it creates a buzz all its own.

Transfer to the Radio Hotel.

Overnight accommodation in the 4* Radio Hotel.
7:45 Arrival at track, breakfast and changing into driving equipment.
8:30 Briefing by our instructors.
9:00 Single seater driving – 100 km (4 sessions) per person during the morning.
12:00 Lunch on the track.
14:00 Single seater driving – 100 km (3 sessions) per person during the afternoon.
18:00 End of the day Champagne, appetisers.
20:00 3 course dinner with paired wines at the 1* gourmet restaurant of the Radio Hotel.
Overnight accommodation in the 4* Radio Hotel.
Transfer to the Clermont Ferrand Airport based on your flight schedule.

- 1 day of driving (7 x 20 minutes) in historic F1 and more than 200 kilometres on the Charade race track, insurance with deductible, driver's equipment, English speaking professional instructors.

- All Mercedes V-Class transfers on site (Clermont-Ferrand airport - hotel and city centre).
