You will drive on wonderful mountain roads, through fairy-tale villages, past green meadows and untouched lakes, and stop at many breathtaking lookout points. This 2,000-kilometre tour will take you to iconic and lesser known places and other magical locations.
DAY-BY-DAY PROGRAMME
YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO: relaxing day in Munich | meeting with your travel advisor | obtaining a travel package with a programmed GPS unit and a printed route book | the car you selected will be delivered to your hotel
Private transfer from Munich airport. You will spend your arrival day in Munich. In the early evening at your hotel, you will meet your travel advisor, who will personally provide you with detailed instructions for your trip and will hand over your travel kit.

After breakfast, you will start the first part of your trip on the German autobahn, which has no speed limit, followed by the first section of the famous Alpine road in Bavaria. We will recommend a number of interesting stops along the way.
Overnight stay in the Tyrolean Alps at a castle more than 500 years old.
YOU WILL CROSS the Grossglockner pass
You will pass over the Austrian peak and one of the top driving attractions in Europe: the high-mountain Grossglockner road. Its admirable length – almost 48 kilometres – and countless hairpins, with a maximum driving altitude of 2,504 m, guarantee a fantastic driving experience.
Second night at a castle more than 500 years old.
You can look forward to hazy blue lakes, typical Swiss alpine meadows, and fantastic mountain panoramas along the route to your hotel in Andermatt. It will be another grandiose day full of driving and varied sights of natural beauty, and you will experience the difference in architecture, cuisine and culture between the Swiss north and south.
YOU WILL SEE: another wonderful Alpine pass | the Ticino region | Lake Como
The beautiful environment, wellness centre and swimming pool invite you to relax. If, however, you want to keep investigating the destination, we have planned a short loop down picturesque roads in the region, including a visit to the iconic Villa del Balbianello.
Second night in your hotel on the bank of Lake Como.
YOU WILL STOP AT: Heidi village | Vaduz castle in Liechtenstein | Lake Lucerne
Today you will cross back into Switzerland and Austria on probably the most beautiful section of motorway in Switzerland and cross the Duchy of Liechtenstein into Kaunertal valley in Austria. You will stop in the Heidi village – the birthplace and home of the character of the same name from the famous Swiss stories.
Overnight stay in Kleinwalsertal, Austria.
YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO: motorway with no speed limit | Linderhof Palace | Neuschwanstein Castle
You will cross the border back into Bavaria and enjoy a second section of beautiful German Alpine motorway with no speed limit. This route is literally dotted with castles and palaces from the last king of Bavaria. Visit Neuschwanstein Castle, a romantic nineteenth century jewel on a rugged hill. You will take the German autobahn back to Munich.
Overnight stay in Munich.
Depending on your flight plan, a driver will collect you at your hotel and take you to the airport in comfort.
