Glacier walk

Today you will take a tour of the beautiful south coast, one of the most beautiful areas of the country. The South Coast's defining features include stunning black beaches, abundant birdlife and magnificent waterfalls. A fun, safe and easy to moderate glacier walk awaits you as you discover a wonderland of ice sculptures, water pots, ridges and deep crevasses on the stunning Sólheimajökull glacier. While enjoying all the special features of the glacier and its spectacular surroundings, you will learn more about the behaviour of glaciers and their impact on nature. There are no technical requirements for the hike, as an experienced guide will teach you how to use the basic glacier equipment, such as crampons and an ice axe. The unique experience of a glacier walk on one of the world's many retreating glaciers is sure to leave lasting memories in your mind.
Quad ride with a stop at the plane wreck

The trip begins with a briefing on the itinerary and safety instructions. From the base, you will head down through several small rivers to the black lava sands that come from the dormant Katla volcano. You will stop at the black beach below and enjoy the stunning views of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and continue along the coast to the southernmost part of Iceland called Dyrhólaey. This truly off-road experience takes you across small rivers to the famous Sólheimasandur plane wreck before returning to base camp.
Thorsmork valley

Today's journey begins with a crossing into the majestic Icelandic highlands, to a valley called Thorsmörk. This extraordinary valley, shaped by glaciers, is located at the beginning of the Icelandic interior and is surrounded by three glaciers: Tindfjallajökull, Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. Spend a day exploring the wonders of Þórsmörk while experiencing an adventurous 4×4 superjeep ride! We'll cross various unsurpassed glacial rivers and reach areas such as the Gígjökull glacier, where severe glacial floods escaped during the Eyjafjallajökull eruption in 2010. There are many spectacular hiking options to choose from, and your guide will carefully select the one that best suits your abilities. Þórsmörk is home to several species of wildlife, and if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the Arctic foxes that inhabit the area. They are one of the few land mammals native to Iceland.
Land Rover Driving Tour

Today it's time to test your driving skills! The Land Rover Super Defender is built specifically for Icelandic conditions. With 38" tyres, the Super Defender is an unstoppable 4x4 machine that can tackle any terrain. Large tires, on-board air compressor, additional headlights along with a snorkel and built-in VHF radio allow this vehicle to drive in otherwise unrideable conditions. By deflating the tyres, the Land Rover Super Defender gains more grip and flotation, allowing this vehicle to drive in deep snow. Retrofitting to large tyres increases stability as the width of the vehicle increases more than the height from the road, bringing the centre of gravity disproportionately lower than the original vehicle.
Culinary Reykjavik

The Reykjavík Culinary Walk is a great way to learn about food in Iceland, experience our delicious local cuisine at its best, see Reykjavík's highlights and visit the most renowned restaurants, local shops and food trucks. You won't need lunch after this tour because you simply won't have room for it! Savour the flavours of Iceland and sample up to 8 distinctive dishes, from the time-honoured traditional food that has nourished Icelanders for centuries, to street delicacies and refined takes on classic Icelandic cuisine. Icelandic lamb, fresh Icelandic fish, homemade ice cream from a secret family recipe, the famous Icelandic hot dog and much more.
Whale watching

Our 12 metre long boat allows us to get very close to the animals in a way that is extremely safe for both our passengers and the whales. When we head out into the bay, it's a fast, exciting ride with the wind in our hair - we have a comfortable cruising speed of 32 knots, so we have plenty of time to feed the whales. On the way back to port we take a scenic route along the Reykjavik coastline, which is the perfect photo opportunity! We'll also stop at Akurey Island to catch a glimpse of these cute seabirds that live around the coast of Iceland during nesting season. The whales that can often be spotted during trips in Faxaflói Bay are mainly 4 species - minke whales, bottlenose dolphins, porpoises and humpback whales. Sometimes they come closer and sometimes they are more distant. We make sure to respect their habitat and try to let them come close to us if they want to.
