Hungaroring

Tight and Twisty

The Hungaroring, home of the Hungarian Grand Prix since 1986, is a unique circuit on the Formula 1 calendar. Measuring 4.381 kilometers (2.72 miles) with 14 corners, it is known for its tight, twisty layout and limited overtaking opportunities, making qualifying and strategy crucial. Located near Budapest, the track winds through natural terrain, creating elevation changes and challenging braking zones that test both drivers and teams. Grandstands and hillside viewing areas allow fans to follow the action closely, while the track’s compact design ensures that every turn, pit stop, and battle can be experienced up close, combining technical racing with an intimate and energetic atmosphere.
